Monday's Daily Depiction

Where: In our bed 

When: A lazy, sleep morning last week

What: Nelli running upstairs and jumping straight on the bed the moment Rob leaves for work every morning. Nelli then positioning herself for some cosy spooning. 

Who: Nell and I 

Why (was it noteworthy): After a week away from our girl, I have thoroughly enjoyed our morning cuddles this week.

Where: On the packed 1140 train from Stevenage to Finsbury Park 

When: 27th 

What: Squishing ourselves onto the train. Overrunning engineering works at Kings Cross meant that the trains were basically fucked. 

Who: Rob and I 

Why (was it noteworthy): Despite it taking us three hours to get from home to our destination, we laughed and joked the entire time. From writing back to front 'Help!' on the train window, laughing like school children whilst being shushed as the announcements came on, singing ridiculous songs and trying to start a singalong, we made it an adventure.

Where: Our House 

When: Saturday Night 

What: Pre-drinking before our yearly trip to Chicagos  

Who: Emma, Emily, Clare and Carys. We were also joined by Tom and Tom for predrinks. The girls went on to partyyyy at chicagos whilst the boys stayed in and played poker. 

Why (was it noteworthy): Rob and I really enjoy hosting. It was lovely to get our friends together and see everyone smiling and having a good time.

Where: Driving home from our Sunday Roast at Emily's 

When: Sunday night

What: Driving round and round the block listening to Push The Tempo

Who: Rob and I (and our amazing dance moves)

Why (was it noteworthy): Our crazy dance moves. Our amazing singing. Our loud laughter!

What: Nelli getting her bi-annual bath 

Who: Our girl Nelli

Why (was it noteworthy): Rob and I both noticed that Nelli was losing a lot of fur lately so we thought it was about time we got her in the bath. We called Nell upstairs and she was all waggy tailed until she realised that she would be getting in the bath. Although she wasn't happy about it she was very well behaved. We got the blow dryer on her afterwards and she spent the rest of the afternoon sulking in bed.

What: Nelli's guilty looking face

Who: Our girl Nelli

Why (was it noteworthy): Just look at that face! We found Nelli snoozing in her bed after we had been to Mum's for dinner. I decided it was time for Nelli cuddles and selfies and snapped this Nell face. Those eyebrows!

When: Sunday breakfast

What: Homemade blueberry muffins and coffee

Who: Rob and I 

Why (was it noteworthy): We had an extra hour in bed due to the clocks going back. We had a relaxed start to the day eating what is effectively a pudding in bed. Our first attempt at blueberry muffins and they were lovely!

What: A pint of beer, playing cards, eating pub snacks

Who: Rob and I were joined by Clare

Why (was it noteworthy): A relaxed atmosphere, pretty decor and well, because having a pint in the afternoon feels a bit cheeky!
