East Enders

A few weeks ago Rob managed to score a pair of last minute tickets to see West Ham play QPR. I agreed go along and indulge Rob in a trip to Upton Park to see the hammers play - providing we could visit the pie shop first for lunch. Seeing as I spend more waking hours in East London than anywhere else I knew just the spot. We headed for pie and mash from a proper East End pie shop and it certainly did not disappoint.

Rob ordered pie and two mash and liquor. I ordered pie and chips and liquor. Next time we will definitely both get mash, and also maybe an extra pie!

We followed our pie with several pints at the Boleyn. As we arrived super early Rob enjoyed seeing the pub getting more and more rowdy. We both sung along to all the West Ham chants.

The irons won two nil, a good result!

Rob committed himself to being a hammer when we first started dating as I had supported them for a couple of years. Now Rob is definitely the bigger fan! It all stems from pappa Corn supporting the irons since he was young. We will be taking him to game in a couple of weeks. Lets hope they can give us something to smile about again. COYI!
